About Equities Quantitative Research (EQR):
Equities Quantitative Research sits at the center of our equities business within Citadel. We apply leading-edge research techniques and technology to deploy investment strategies in the markets and maximize the value of our fundamental equities’ businesses.
Job Description:
Business Managers are a key component of the EQR team, as they work across a large range of initiatives:
  • Work closely with the technical stakeholders, COO and Business Heads on end to end (planning through execution of) strategic initiatives that directly impact the investment process
  • Identify and drive strategic and operational improvements
  • Help drive business scalability across people, research infrastructure, technology, and measurement
  • Solve problems by identifying and guiding technology solution
  • Collaborate with colleagues in the business, and across Citadel, including quantitative researchers, traders, technologists, and other business leaders
Qualifications:
The EQR team is seeking a Business Manager candidate whose professional experience and attributes include:
  • Experience working for or with large technology organizations
  • Outstanding communication skills – experience working with both development teams and stakeholders/clients
  • Effective with prioritization/time management, especially within a fast-paced environment
  • Hands on coding experience with Python / R, SQL
  • Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in Mathematics, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field
  • Management consulting and/or product management experience at a top firm strongly preferred
  • Experience with project management tools (Jira/Confluence) preferred
