Job Description

.Primary Responsibilities
 Partners with the Head of People for a Citadel business on multiple aspects and topics such as: performance,
growth, development, management, leadership, successes, challenges, etc.
 Spends vast majority of time (~80%) working directly with individuals and teams to coach them for growth, peak
performance and team effectiveness
 Drives performance expectation of firm in balance with predisposition of individuals and team
 Develops and maintains very close respect-based relationships with team members, and is first point of contact for
mid- and junior-level colleagues for variety of performance-related topics
 Interviews junior prospective hires in final recruiting stages, interviews exits for lessons learned
 Structures information, develops hypotheses and recommendations and strategizes with Head of People, COOs
and CPO frequently
 Receives resources (e.g. tools, frameworks) and support from Growth & Development team
 Assists Head of People on critical people processes such as year-end performance reviews
 Delegates traditional administrative HR topics to People Operations team, who handle them end-to-end

Required Skills

Your Skills & Talents
 Rigorous academic background and training in leadership and development coaching and counseling, performance
management and team effectiveness.
 Direct experience building strong teams and coaching on team effectiveness, collaboration, and conflict resolution.
 Able to establish credibility and rapport with finance professionals and advise on high-impact topics.
 Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, strong client-support orientation, and the ability to work
effectively with all levels of the organization and with a wide range of clients, individually and in groups.
 Effective decision making skills and judgment (effectively gather and analyze facts, weigh risks and make
decisions/recommendations that are right for the business, the people and our culture).
 Strong communication and interpersonal skills including conflict management and negotiation skills.
 Exceptionally strong operational experience and exposure and ability to execute flawlessly under pressure.
 Experience working in an extremely dynamic, fast-paced, results-oriented environment.
 Strong business acumen and ability to connect individual and team goals with strategic objectives of the business.
 Take ownership; able to establish oneself as the ‘go-to’ resource for client organizations.
 Work experience in Financial Services is a plus, but not necessarily required
**Required Education: Doctorate (or Masters) Degree in Psychology or related field from a top University (1-3 years out of school)
