Job Description

Role Overview: 
Candidate would be responsible for the day-to-day support functions of the trading desk including trade booking, trade reconciliation, P&L analysis, and new desk functionality. The candidate should have a foundational knowledge of markets, a key eye for detail, a high degree of motivation and deep analytic skills. 
 
Location: New York
 
 
Responsibilities:
·         Working with trading teams to process trade execution across the trade lifecycle 
·         Working in a team environment that closely integrates trading, technology and operational excellence
·          Working with the trading desk to manage risk breaks, assist with executions and middle office functions 
·         Automating operational workflows and partnering with developers and technology teams to architect, build, and deliver robust platforms to reduce manual overhead and risk
·         Developing robust processes to aid in the deployment of new trading capabilities 
·         Coordinating with developers to help with releases and testing for new software 
·         Coordinating efforts with Trading, Technology, Compliance and Operations teams to ensure smooth expansion and day to day operation of the business 
·         Liaising with operations, accounting and business management departments to develop and answer ad hoc requests 
 
 
Qualifications:
·         Foundational knowledge of OTC markets
·         Experience interfacing with trading and technology systems 
·         Process driven approach to problem solving 
·         Strong communication skills and the ability to liaise across multiple groups 
·         A highly analytic mentality and a rigorous attention to deal 
·         A completed bachelor’s degree from a top tier university in economics, business administration, computer science, engineering, finance, mathematics, physics or a related field  

In accordance with New York City’s Pay Transparency Law, the base salary range for this role is $125,000 to $250,000. Base salary does not include other forms of compensation or benefits.
