Job Description

Title: Financial Operation Associate/Manager
Location: Singapore
As a payroll manager at Citadel / Citadel Securities, you'll play a critical role in ensuring the pay-cycle for our teams are running smoothly, calculated accurately, paid on time and maintained in compliance with regulations.   Sitting within the Finance Function, you'll work with a variety of teams from HR to Technology to drive process improvement and change.  Our payroll team is looking for an individual who wants to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment where every decision you make has a direct impact.
 
Role & Responsibilities:
Payroll
•         Oversee Payroll and HR Finance function across Asia Pacific with particular focus on Singapore, India, and Japan
•         Manage employment related tax matters including employer tax filing, withholding tax and in-bound/ out-bound arrangements
•         Manage payroll accounting
•         Maintaining a close working relationship with external providers such as banks, payroll agent, tax advisors and other vendors and continually monitoring the quality and timeliness of their service delivery
•         Identify process improvements opportunities and collaborate with regional/ global team to streamline and automate processes
 
Financial Operations
•         Oversee daily accounts payable/ expense claim process flow and cash flow management
•         Handle ad-hoc queries related to the accounts payable/ Expense claim process
•         Maintain the expense processing system
•         Participate in financial operations project 

Required Skills

Qualifications:
•         Payroll and HR finance experience is a must
•         Familiar with APAC employment rules and regulations specifically Singapore, India and Japan.
•         Experience with Hedge Funds, Investment Management and/or Securities broker preferred
•         Experience/ familiarity in corporate expense allocation process including allocation methods and drivers is a plus
•         Good computer skills, with proficiency on Microsoft suite of applications. Experience with Peoplesoft, Concur, and Other Accounts Payable system is a plus
•         Good presentation and interpersonal skills, high energy level, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
•         Demonstrated analytical skills and impeccable integrity
•         An adaptive, flexible style with the ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
 
Education:
•         Bachelor’s Degree with emphasis in Accounting is a plus
