Job Description

Citadel Commodities is the largest and most successful commodities trading business in the world.  It’s COO team is a dynamic and diverse group of 20 professionals structured as 3 regional teams.  Each team has two major roles. First, they drive the day-to-day and end-to-end business operations. This encompasses a wide range of activities, from owning relationships with satellite imagery providers, to negotiating terms with market access providers, through to instrument setup and valuation and management reporting.  Second, they drive the growth of the business into new markets and geographies.  Recent expansions have included weather derivatives, physical precious metals and onshore Chinese markets, in each case working with market-leading portfolio managers and operating to robust timeframes to the highest operational standards.
The COO team has more than doubled in size over the past three years and continues to grow, with opportunities across the experience spectrum.  We seek world-class talent who want to build their domain expertise and grow their responsibilities in a wide range of commodity derivative markets.  We operate in a culture that emphasizes integrity, meritocracy and a constant focus at being the best in the world at what we do; successful candidates will be able to demonstrate those traits.
Successful team members build the following skills and competencies. More senior candidates will already be able to demonstrate these in their career to date.
