Job Description

The Citadel & Citadel Securities Programming Accelerator is an immersive learning experience focused on introducing you to the finance and tech industry. In this program, you will participate in various learning modules focused on programming in Python while engaging with Citadel | Citadel Securities executives and employees.
 
The program consists of three weeks of in-person learning in New York City and nine weeks of virtual learning. The primary areas of concentration will include back-end programming with Python in the context of financial markets. Prior technical or financial experience is not required to participate in this program.  
 
Program Dates
·         May 19th – June 6th: in-person sessions in NYC (mandatory in-person attendance)
·         June 9th – August 8th:virtual asynchronous sessions
 
When in-person, your weekdays will be spent in our corporate office between 9 AM and 5 PM. We will have various social and developmental activities in the evenings and on the weekend. During virtual programming, you and your peers will be provided virtual courses to attend each week.

Eligibility: Undergraduate students in good standing, eighteen years of age or older residing in the 50 US/DC, graduating in December 2027 or Spring 2028 pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Computer Engineering, Math, Statistics, or other highly quantitative field and passionate about technology and computer science. Students from under-resourced backgrounds are encouraged to apply. Prior technical or financial experience is not required to participate in this program.


In accordance with applicable law, the base salary range for this role is $0 to $0.

In addition, the employee who fills this role will be eligible to participate in a discretionary incentive compensation program, as well as a wide array of benefit programs, such as medical and life insurance, retirement and tax-free savings plans, and access to other healthcare programs.
