Steve Valan is Global Co-Head of the Client and Partner Group at Citadel. He is responsible for managing the firm’s relationships with all investors globally. Steve joined Citadel’s Client and Partner Group in 2015.
Prior to joining Citadel, Steve held various roles at J.P. Morgan, most recently in the Leveraged Finance department where he served in high yield debt origination and capital markets roles.
Steve obtained his Master of Business Administration from Columbia Business School where he received the Nahum Melumad Memorial Prize for outstanding scholarship, and a bachelor’s degree from the University of Delaware.
Steve is a Board Member of the Boys & Girls Club of Greenwich, where he is also a member of the Finance and Endowment Committees. He serves on the North American committee for the Standards Board for Alternative Investments.
